Hometown Trinity. Better living by design.

..................................................................................................................................................

Evergreen is part of a community that is much more than a typical neighborhood. The “Hometown Trinity” concept has literally transformed the quality of life in Southwest Pasco County. Since opening in the early 1990’s, nearly 3,500 families have moved into Trinity. Many are busily raising families, while others are enjoying the blissful, carefree days of their golden years in this vibrant, sun-kissed community.

From the very beginning, Trinity was envisioned as a community where exceptional comforts and conveniences would make life more rewarding and complete: good schools, the finest quality healthcare facilities, top-notch golf, community parks, family recreation and daycare facilities are everyday amenities.

Just outside the neighborhood, enterprising business people (many of them Trinity residents) have opened a diverse array of shops, restaurants, salons, doctors' offices and other essential businesses that help complete the picture of a thriving and self-sufficient hometown.

Poised atop Pinellas and Hillsborough counties, just minutes from the East Lake Corridor to the west and the Suncoast Parkway/Veteran’s Expressway to the east, Trinity is ideally located. Major cultural centers and metropolitan work centers are within easy reach; yet coming home still fulfills the promise of a tranquil countryside setting.

The History of Trinity
When first envisioning Trinity, the planners at Adam Smith Enterprises Inc. determined that transportation would be critical to the community’s long term success. At the time, only two-lane rural roads served the area. To ensure a sustainable future, detailed transportation, environmental, soil, water and other important studies were conducted.

Because the property is located along the borders of three counties, (Pinellas, Hillsborough and Pasco), regulatory approval was required from each County Commission, as well as the Tampa Bay Regional Planning Council (TBRPC). After multiple trips through the approval process, the Florida Department of Community Affairs issued the Trinity Communities Development Order (DO) on December 30, 1989, and an exciting new concept in Pasco hometown living was born.
